Joc Joc Bolante: A Capizeño

 
Jocelyn “Joc-joc” Bolante, former Undersecretary of the Department of Agriculture, was a native of Dao, Capiz. Born on August 27, 1951. 3 CAPELCO workers terminated for stealing P2-M

ROXAS City – Three employees of the Capiz Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CAPELCO) have been terminated for allegedly stealing the cooperative’s P2-million collections.
Engr. Edgar Diaz, CAPELCO general manager, ordered the dismissal from service of Evangeline Dadivas, cashier division supervisor; Cristeta Flotildes, assistant cashier; and Renee Bacarro, cashiering division teller.

Capiz gives 900 packs of relief goods to flood-hit areas

Roxas City (14 January) — About 900 packs of relief goods were distributed by the provincial government of Capiz to families in various flashflood-hit barangays of Sigma and Pan-ay towns.
