CAPIZtahan 2009 National Fireworks Competition

The Capiz Local Government Unit headed by our Governor Victor Tanco with the cooperation of Pyrotechnic Association of the Philippines through its President, Harry delos Santos organized the National Fireworks Competition held here in Roxas City this April 15, 2009 as part of the celebration and main attraction of Capiztahan 2009.

Capiztahan 2009 – Bungad/Bunggad (Opening Program)

Bunggad signals the formal opening of the celebration of the Capiztahan 2009 – the108th Foundation Day Commemoration of the Civil Government of Capiz, April 13-15, 2009. A flag raising ceremony of the Capiz Government, City and all municipal banners was held in front of the Capitol Building.  An opening program followed after the flag raising.

Capiztahan 2009 Fireworks Exhibition

The Capiztahan 2009 activity go with a bang as the Chinese and Korean fireworks manufacturers showcase their products by having a fireworks exhibition held at Villareal Stadium, Roxas City this April 13, 2009 which started at exactly 7:00pm.
 
Hundreds of Capiznon spectators watched the awesome explosions of fireworks that lasted almost 6 minutes.
