Weather: Mostly dry from December to May and wet from June to November, coolest from October to February and hottest from March to May.  Temperature varies in most places, the high and low average temperature are 33 degree celcius (91 degrees farenheit) and 19 degree celcius (66 degrees farenheit)

Business and Banking Hours: Private and government offices are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Most shopping malls and department stores are open from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm.

Banks are open from 8:00am to 3:00pm.  Mondays to Fridays, with automated teller machines (ATM) that operate for 24 hours.

Credit Cards: International credit cards such as Visa, Diners Cluyb, Mastercard, JCB and American Express Card are accepted in major establishments.

Location:Capiz is located in the Western Visayas region, at the northeastern portion of the Panay Island, bordering Aklan and Antique to the west, and Iloilo to the south.  Capiz faces the Sibuyan Sea to the north.

How to get there:Travel time to Roxas City, the main gateway to the Province of Capiz, is 45 minutes by plane (2 flights daily) around 16 hours by boat, and 14 hours by Ro-Ro (Roll-on-Roll-off) bussess from Manila.  It is approximately 2 hours drive by bus from Iloilo City and 4 hours from Catiklan, Malay, Aklan.

Getting around: Busses, jeepneys, public utility vans (PUV’s) ply the main streets and smaller roads between the different towns in Capiz.  The province has a well-developed system of road networks connecting to highways.  It is easy to get around the different towns as well as to nearby provinces in the Panay Island.
