CAPRISA Elects New Set of Officers

Roxas City – After almost four years of leadership of Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion (CPC), time has come for a change of leadership. Filamer Christian College (FCC) will have to assume now the associations’ new leadership for school year 2009-2011 after Dr. Expedito A. Seneres, FCC President has been unanimously voted as Capiz Private Schools Association, Inc.  (CAPRISA) President during the recent election of its new set of officers held at CPC Graduate School Conference last July 09, 2009. 

      The new set of officers elected (by schools represented by head of member-schools &/or official representative) were: Dr. Expedito A. Señeres (FCC), President; Rt. Rev. Msgr. Vicente F. Hilata (CPC), Vice-President; Sr. Ma. Remy M. Villaraiz, RMV (SMAC), Treasurer (Basic Education); HERCOR College represented by Mrs. Lerry Basamot, Treasurer (Tertiary Education); Dr. Gloria S. Chavez (CSJ-Roxas), Auditor; Mr. Eustaquio Arquisola (SAC-R), PIO. The six directors-at-large, three representing the first district were: Dr. Elnora A. Barrios (OLMLC), Dr. Avelino D. Valenzuela (SBSCA) & Sr. Ma. Phillip Adrias, OP (PSSI), from the second district: Fr. Randy Guarino (OLSI), Ms. Marcelita F. Fedalgo (SMA) & Ms. Deborah I. Espiamba (SCA). 

      The association secretary, sports coordinator, cultural coordinator are appointed positions chosen by whoever is the association elected president. 

      The 21-active member-schools of the Capiz Private Schools Association, Inc. (CAPRISA, Inc.) in the city of Roxas & province of Capiz are: CCS, SLPS, PSSI, OLGA, OLHRA, DCLC, SMA, SCA, OLFA, IHMCLC, SMM, Inc., PCS, SMAC, SJDS, OLMC, SBSCA, FCC, HC, CPC, CSJ-Roxas & SAC-R.
